I have an LG BX-580 bluray player it appears that other brands are having issues with Netflix BD rentals as well. I hope they figure it out soon so far the replacement discs mailed to me have played without problems. I have been getting blu-rays from NF ever since they started offering them, I have yet to see a joshua cracked disk. I sometimes get cracked DVDs usually they are kiddie movies but never blu-rays. Most blu-rays I get from NF are brand spanking new. replace with another disc. service has been great. Ive received Book of Eli with same crack, requested another and the next book of eli had the same damn crack. If they hadnt already charged me for bluray for the current month id cancel. i cant be happier when my bill month comes to a close so i can drop bluray. Bluray is scratch resistant but not crack resistant. watched some stress tests for dvds and blurays. the bluray didnt scratch easily but it immediately snapped in several pieces when bent slightly.
